We began working among the gypsies at the "Pata Rât" camp in 1997, when 170 people were living there. Now the camp has 160 families - 520 people. We share the love, life, and provision of God with all who will listen. In 2000 we began church services and prayer meetings for adults and educational programs as well.

Most of the houses at Pata Rât are not recognizable as such. They were
built from refuge found on the garbage dump. We have
helped improve many houses and have built twenty-three
small homes for families there!

In our "New Life Education Center" we have church/family meetings, educational programs, a kitchen, and also a distribution center for humanitarian aid. Next to the center we have a medical clinic and a shower facility. In December we were blessed to have a doctor commit to come once weekly to treat people in the medical clinic. This is a real answer to prayer...since the clinic was built three years ago!
