Many parents cannot, or do not want to, take care of their children because of poverty (more often a poverty mentality);
therefore they abandon them. We are now helping children in three other government-approved homes and in individual families.Alex, Andrei, and Abel, who were in our home, are in the process of being adopted by our 'sons and daughters'. Sara was adopted by Mia, another of our daughters (who was brought up in an orphanage during the time of Ceaucescu).
